About Us
Our mission is to encourage and enable high school students to find their future through career exploration and experiences in a supportive environment.
Mission Statement
We believe that relationship is the first and highest priority in the lives of our students. If we cannot build a supportive relationship with a student, we will not be able to speak into his or her life. Our employees must be willing to make relationship with students a priority, to invest in students, to be inconvenienced at times, and to let students know that they are valued and loved no matter what. This relational foundation gives us the opportunity to speak into their lives—their education, their relationships, and more.
Relational Foundation
We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Nondiscrimination Policy
We are an independent homeschool enrichment program, with 501(c)3 not-for-profit status through the Internal Revenue Service. We are governed by a Board of Directors (bylaws/policies available upon request), and are a member of the Education Re-envisioned BOCES, a state-wide alternative education association. Currently, we serve middle school and high school students.
Organizational Structure
Teachers develop and document appropriate curriculum for each course, in consultation with the administration. These materials are used to provide a career and interest-focused program that is tailored to meet the individual needs of students, supporting and challenging them so they are able to grow and learn. Please feel free to talk to any of the staff if you have specific questions.
